| Job Description | • Involve technical discussions and troubleshooting efforts for complex customer issues. • Ability to work as highly technical problem solver, understand system architecture, hardware, and software interaction. • Collaboration, Working with Sales, Management, and Operation teams to initialize or support ASUS server products. • Attention to detail is a must for projects, which may include many moving parts in the equation. • Gathering business and application requirements from the customer, including forward interaction and promotion of ASUS products. • Serve as a trusted technical resource for peers by sharing best practices and supporting complex issue escalations. • Identify opportunities to improve team processes, documentation, and technical resources. • Communication with engineers from the technical team at the Taiwan headquarters to solve technical issues • Support for new project development of customers • Collect & Manage Electromagnetic Compatibility Registration (KCC) related data and schedule the test • If required, visit and work in data center environment, including standing, bending, and lifting equipment. |

| Job Requirement | • 5+ years of experience as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) or in a related technical customer-facing role, providing technical support and solutions for server products. • Able to support, partner and answer pre-sales and post sales technical engineering questions to internal sales team and external stakeholders • Experience in installing, configuring and maintaining server platform (rackmount, blade, tower), motherboards, CPU, (Intel Xeon, and AMD EPYC) CPU and Memory, storage (SATA/NVMe), networking (10/25/100GbE). • Customer focused and analytical mindset with good verbal and written communication skills. • Ability to multi-task and manage workflow priorities • Focused on taking initiative to solve problems and create positive results. • Provides technical leadership in Pre-Sales and oversee implementation of such solutions. • Highly technical problem solver who understands system architecture, hardware and software interaction. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. • Strong background and experience with x86-based server architecture, familiarity with Firmware, Linux, BIOS, BMC, Windows and virtualization platforms(VMware, Hyper-V). |
